Was it absolutely necessary to remind us about Collins John?

Boothroyd’s blind persual of this signing was made all the more baffling when it was revealed John suffred from having one leg longer than the other. No wonder he was so crap.

That map seems to be missing Richard Johnson (Newcastle, NSW, Australia), Jay DeMerit (Vancouver) , Alon Hazan and Ronnie Rosenthal (Israel)….

    • optajoke says:

Rocket Ronnie Rosenthal is on there, look closer!

As for the others, we’ve only included players that have been mentioned on our podcasts. If Jonno, Jay or Alon get a mention then we’ll add them!

      Alon Hazan, what a man.

  4. As a Watford fan I am not sure whether the large number of players that have “had a spell” at the club is a good thing or not! Think it stems down to the fact that we have no money so get a lot of players in on loan and have to accept most offers for players that come our way.

  5. Give Jay Demerit a mention! He is the inaugural captain of Whitecaps FC as they are about to kick off their first season in MLS. He’s also a very funny tweeter: @D6MERIT

  6. No idea why I can’t change my username…embarrassing.

I was about to say you should have done this on Swindon Town FC as equally as many people have ‘touched base’ in Swindon. Then I thought of a common link between the two (and missing off your list). Dominic Foley.

Useless, currently plying his trade for Cercel Brugge in Belgium.

  7. Mark says:

You should try looking at this from a Bradford City point too!

    Donovan Ricketts in the MLS.
    Willy Topp back in Chile.
Zesh Rehman, Chris Brandon and Lee Hendrie all out in Asia!
There’s a few back in Australia.
